The State Health Improvement Plan is a long-term, systematic plan to address issues identified in the State Health Assessment. Its purpose is to describe how ADH in collaboration with its community partners, will work together to improve the health of all Arkansans.

The State Health Improvement Plan will help all partners establish priorities for action and aid in the development and implementation of programs and policies. It will also help the Agency identify the best use of resources in achieving public health goals.

To improve efficiency, primarily the timeliness in updating data/information and progress, the State Health Improvement Plan has been developed in the Scorecard format.

Since the Scorecard contains layers of information, tools have been created to assist users.

A brief PowerPoint presentation provides basic guidance on how to navigate through the SHIP Scorecard.
