Swimming Pools and Related Facilities

image of child swimmingThe Arkansas Department of Health offers consultation with pool builders, pool service technicians, engineers, architects and public health officials as well as pool industry personnel regarding the construction requirements for new and renovation of swimming pools, spas, and other related facilities; review of plans for new construction and renovation of public and other related facilities; supervision of inspection program conducted by local public health officials to insure compliance with regulations; provide training for public health officials, pool operators, managers, service technicians and builders; provide technical assistance to public health officials; development and revision of rules and regulations pertaining to swimming pools and other related facilities.
