Description

There will be a ceremony to read Governor Asa Hutchinson’s Suicide Prevention Awareness Month Proclamation and to raise awareness about suicide prevention in Arkansas as well as the new 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.

Speakers will include state legislators; representatives from the Arkansas Departments of Health, Human Services, and Veterans Affairs; and the Governor’s Challenge to Prevent Suicide Among Service Members, Veterans, and their Families. The Proclamation will be read by the Deputy State Surgeon of the Arkansas Army National Guard. Please see the attached program for details.
