TRACs: Arkansas Valley
| North Central
The seven Trauma Regional Advisory Councils (TR
ACs), like the Governor’s Trauma Advisory Council (TAC) and its six subcommittees, play a crucial role in Arkansas’ trauma system. Whereas the TAC is the umbrella organization that provides advice and guidance to the ADH with respect to trauma system implementation, the TRACs bring together a wide range of health care professionals at the regional level to deal with issues that are important to their respective geographical areas. In short, this is where the “rubber meets the road.” Each TRAC has structured membership, by-laws, and meetings that are posted well in advance so both members and interested parties from the general public can attend.
