The Arkansas Department of Health is celebrating National Rural Health Day on Thursday, Nov 19, 2015. National Rural Health Day showcases rural communities in Arkansas. It’s a day that recognizes how vital top-notch health care is to the well-being of rural communities. The National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health (NOSORH) and other state/national rural stakeholders will join the Office of Rural Health and Primary Care in celebrating National Rural Health Day on Thursday, November 19, 2015.
Events recognizing National Rural Health Day and “Celebrating the Power of Rural” are being planned throughout the nation.
In Arkansas, The Office of Rural Health and Primary Care is planning to mark the occasion by disseminating posters, in observance of National Rural Health Day, to many of the rural health delivery facilities located in the urban and rural areas of Arkansas. Also, please visit the NOSORH web site at http://celebratepowerofrural.org/ to listen in on several live Webinars on November 19, 2015 that will highlight the good work being done to highlight health care in rural America.
